Una persona perdi\u00f3 la vida el pasado mes de noviembre tras sufrir un atropello, siendo el \u00fanico fallecido por accidente el pasado a\u00f1o en las calles de la ciudad. Otras 34 personas resultaron heridas graves, la mitad de ellas peatones.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">La tendencia de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os refleja una disminuci\u00f3n en el n\u00famero de accidentes de tr\u00e1fico desde los 3.283 de 2004 o los 3.456 de 2005 hasta los 2.121 de 2014. El a\u00f1o pasado fue el segundo con menos siniestros de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, por detr\u00e1s de 2013 en el que se produjeron menos de 2.000 accidentes en la ciudad, en concreto, 1.928. Lo que tambi\u00e9n sigue una tendencia a la baja es el n\u00famero de atropellos que ha descendido desde los 191 de 2004 y los 201 de 2005 a los 114 del pasado a\u00f1o, la cifra m\u00e1s baja de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada. <\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">A pesar de lamentar el pasado a\u00f1o el fallecimiento de un peat\u00f3n atropellado el pasado mes de noviembre en el pol\u00edgono industrial de Landaben, en los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os ha disminuido el n\u00famero de personas heridas graves y fallecidas en las carreteras del t\u00e9rmino municipal de Pamplona. En 2004 fallecieron 8 personas y 68 resultaron heridas graves. En 2014 perdi\u00f3 la vida 1 personas y 34 fueron heridas de gravedad. Del total de v\u00edctimas heridas graves y fallecidas el a\u00f1o pasado (35 personas), 17 eran peatones, 6 conductores o usuarios de motocicletas, 6 ciclistas, 4 conductores o usuarios de ciclomotores y 2 conductores o usuarios de turismos. Adem\u00e1s, 667 personas resultaron heridas leves el pasado a\u00f1o en accidentes, respecto a las 1.500 que sufrieron ese tipo de heridas por las mismas causas en 2004.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Los meses con mayor n\u00famero de heridos graves o fallecidos han sido abril (6 personas heridas graves), enero (5 heridos graves) y marzo, mayo y noviembre (con 4 heridos graves los dos primeros meses y 3 heridos graves y un fallecido en noviembre. <\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Estos datos de siniestralidad vial y lesividad en Pamplona los gestiona la Polic\u00eda Municipal, encargada y responsable de atender los accidentes de tr\u00e1fico que se producen en la ciudad. Pamplona presenta unos ratios de siniestralidad y lesividad m\u00e1s bajos que en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os y dentro de la media nacional, si la comparamos con otras ciudades de similar tama\u00f1o. No obstante, el objetivo principal pasa por reducir todav\u00eda m\u00e1s los datos hasta conseguir el resultado de cero v\u00edctimas mortales, tal y como sucedi\u00f3 en 2009, y adem\u00e1s, lograr un verdadero equilibrio entre todos los usuarios de las v\u00edas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\">\n<h4 class=\"apoyo-de-datos-western\">Siniestralidad vial.
